About Dr Robyn Box

Dr Robyn Box graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982 and has clinical experience in medical, surgical, rehabilitation, intensive care, and chronic condition management. She has worked in the area of physiotherapy rehabilitation after cancer treatment, early diagnosis and treatment of Lymphoedema as well as the management of oncology patients for more than 35 years, completing her PhD in the area of breast cancer physiotherapy rehabilitation in 2000.

Robyn continues to be involved in clinical research investigating the benefits of physiotherapy after cancer treatment, including the assessment and treatment of Lymphoedema. She presents at national and international conferences, has published her research and is actively involved in the education of health professionals.


Prior to opening QLBOP in Brisbane in 2005, Robyn worked in Queensland at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Prince Charles Hospital, the University of Queensland; and in Victoria at Monash Medical Centre and Southern Health Lymphoedema Clinic.
